Career-Focused Training at INX Academy San Diego

INX Academy is pleased to announce that five of our career-training programs have received Initial Eligibility approval through the San Diego Workforce Partnership.

These approved programs provide eligible San Diego County participants with access to career-focused education and training that may qualify for workforce-development funding.

The programs are currently eligible through June 30, 2027, at which time they will be subject to review.

Certificate in Accounting

Develop practical accounting skills for careers in bookkeeping, financial reporting, taxation, auditing, and business finance.

Workforce Funding May Be Available

Eligible participants may be able to receive financial assistance for approved training through workforce-development programs administered by the San Diego Workforce Partnership and participating Career Centers.

Funding may help cover approved education and training expenses. Eligibility is determined individually by the Career Center and may depend on factors such as employment status, income, residency, career goals, and program availability.

Approval of a training program does not guarantee that every applicant will receive funding.

How to Get Started

Step 1: Contact INX Academy

Speak with an INX Academy admissions representative to learn about:

• Program schedules
• Tuition and fees
• Admission requirements
• Program length

• Upcoming start dates

Step 2: Register with CalJOBS

Participants may be asked to create or update a CalJOBS account as part of the workforce eligibility process.

Step 3: Contact a Career Center

Complete the San Diego Workforce Partnership Career Center intake and eligibility process.

Applicants may be asked to provide documents such as:

• Proof of identity
• Proof of San Diego County residency
• Employment or unemployment information
• Income documentation
• Selective Service registration, when applicable
• Educational records
• Authorization to work in the United States

Step 4: Receive Training Authorization

A Career Center representative will determine whether the participant qualifies for funding and whether the selected program is appropriate for the participant’s employment goals.

Students should receive written authorization before beginning a workforce-funded program.

Step 5: Enroll at INX Academy

After authorization is received, INX Academy will assist the participant with enrollment, orientation, scheduling, and the completion of required school documents.

Important Eligibility Information

San Diego Workforce Partnership program approval applies to eligible workforce participants and does not automatically guarantee funding, admission, employment, certification, licensure, or completion.

Workforce funding eligibility is determined by the San Diego Workforce Partnership or an authorized Career Center, not by INX Academy.

Workforce approval is separate from authorization for international students. F-1 student eligibility is determined by the school’s Student and Exchange Visitor Program certification and the programs listed on its approved Form I-17.

International students should contact the INX Academy Admissions Office before applying to confirm current program eligibility.

Does approval guarantee that my tuition will be paid?

Are these programs available to international students?
