The Social Media Management program will prepare you from day one to be a valued asset to any company. Gain expertise in various aspects of social media marketing, such as social media analytics, advertising, content creation, and more.

Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:

  • Analyze principles of social media communication and digital engagement strategies.

  • Apply theoretical frameworks to the evaluation of content performance metrics.

  • Integrate AI tools meaningfully to support strategic planning and automation tasks.

  • Demonstrate critical understanding of ethical, cultural, and organizational factors in digital media management.

Student progress is evaluated through written assignments, case study analyses, academic projects, supervised presentations, and comprehensive capstone assessments aligned with stated learning outcomes.

Upon completion of the academic program, students will have a foundational knowledge base relevant to roles in digital media, content strategy, analytics, and communications. Career exploration guidance is available through academic advising services.

    Understand the core platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X), brand
    positioning, and strategy. 
  • SMM102: Content Creation & Visual Storytelling for social media – 3 credits
    Canva, CapCut, and modern mobile content techniques.
  • SMM103: AI Tools for Social Media Planning & Automation – 3 credits
    Learn how to use ChatGPT, Notion AI, OpusClip, and scheduling tools like Metricool and
    Buffer.
  • SMM104: Writing for Social: Hooks, Captions & Conversions – 3 credits
    Psychology of engagement, copywriting frameworks, and virality.
