Which VA Education Benefits May Apply?

Depending on your eligibility, you may qualify for education assistance under programs such as:

• Post-9/11 GI Bill®
• Montgomery GI Bill®
• Veteran Readiness and Employment
• Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance
• Other qualifying VA education-benefit programs

Eligibility, payment amounts, housing allowances, book stipends, remaining entitlement, and covered expenses are determined by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs—not by INX Academy.

Approval of a school or program does not guarantee that every student will qualify for benefits or that every educational expense will be paid.

How to Use Your Benefits

Step 1: Confirm Your Eligibility

Apply for VA education benefits or review your current benefits through the official VA website.

Students who have already applied should obtain one of the following:

• Certificate of Eligibility
• Statement of Benefits
• Other current documentation showing VA education-benefit eligibility

Step 2: Select an Approved Program

Speak with an INX Academy admissions representative to review:

• Approved program options
• Program length
• Class schedule
• Tuition and fees
• Admissions requirements
• Career objectives
• Program start dates

VA benefits can be certified only for an approved program in which the student has been properly admitted and enrolled.

Step 3: Submit Your Documents

Students may be asked to provide:

• Certificate of Eligibility or Statement of Benefits
• Government-issued identification
• Military or veteran documentation, when applicable
• Previous college, military, or training transcripts
• INX Academy application documents
• Signed enrollment agreement
• Other documents required for admission or certification

Step 4: Complete a Prior-Credit Evaluation

INX Academy evaluates applicable previous education and training before certifying enrollment.

Students must submit official transcripts from:

• Colleges and universities
• Vocational or technical schools
• Military education and training
• Other applicable institutions

Only courses required for the student’s approved program may be certified to the VA.

Step 5: INX Academy Certifies Enrollment

After the student is admitted, enrolled, and has submitted the required documentation, the INX Academy School Certifying Official reviews the file and submits eligible enrollment information to the VA.

The VA—not INX Academy—determines:

• Final eligibility
• Payment amount
• Payment timing
• Remaining entitlement
• Housing allowance eligibility
• Book or supply stipend eligibility
• Whether an expense is covered

Responsibilities of Students Using VA Benefits

Students receiving VA education benefits are expected to:

• Attend scheduled classes
• Maintain satisfactory academic progress
• Meet attendance requirements
• Complete required coursework
• Notify INX Academy of schedule changes
• Report withdrawals or interruptions promptly
• Provide updated VA documentation when requested
• Verify enrollment when required by the VA

Changes in enrollment may affect tuition payments, housing allowances, benefit eligibility, or the student’s debt responsibility.

INX Academy is required to report applicable enrollment changes to the VA.

Attendance and Academic Progress

Students using VA education benefits are held to the same published academic and attendance standards that apply to other students in the program.

A student who stops attending, withdraws, reduces training, takes an approved leave, or fails to maintain satisfactory academic progress may have that change reported to the VA.

Students should speak with the School Certifying Official before making enrollment changes whenever possible.

Tuition and Payments

VA payments vary according to:

• The student’s benefit chapter
• Eligibility percentage
• Remaining entitlement
• Enrollment status
• Program approval
• Training dates
• Other VA requirements

Students remain responsible for charges that are not paid by the VA.

Receiving a Certificate of Eligibility does not guarantee that the VA will pay the entire cost of a program.

Veteran Readiness and Employment

Eligible veterans with service-connected disabilities may qualify for education and employment assistance through Veteran Readiness and Employment.

Students interested in this benefit should work directly with their assigned VA counselor and provide INX Academy with the required authorization before beginning training.

Program participation and payment must be approved by the appropriate VA representative.

INX Academy must determine and document the applicable last date of attendance and report required enrollment changes. This could affect payments or create a debt with the VA or the school.

Are jobs guaranteed after graduation?

No. INX Academy provides education and career-support services, but it does not guarantee employment, a particular salary, professional certification, or job placement.
