Career services and student support at INX AcademyAt INX Academy, career preparation is an important part of the student experience. Our Career Center provides students and graduates with practical support designed to strengthen job-search skills, improve professional presentation, and help individuals prepare for career opportunities related to their education and experience.

Career services are available to eligible INX Academy students and graduates and may include career counseling, resume assistance, interview preparation, job-search guidance, LinkedIn support, career exploration, and employer outreach.

Career Counseling

Students may meet with Career Services staff to discuss career goals, employment interests, professional development, and job-search strategies.

Career Services for Workforce Students

Students participating in approved workforce-funded training programs may also receive career-development support through INX Academy.

Career Services may complement resources available through the San Diego Workforce Partnership, Career Centers, CalJOBS, and other workforce organizations.

Students should continue working with their assigned workforce representative regarding eligibility, employment services, funding requirements, and workforce-program responsibilities.

Career Services for International Students

International students may participate in career-development services such as resume preparation, professional networking, interview preparation, career exploration, and job-search education.

Important F-1 Employment Notice

Participation in Career Services does not establish eligibility for employment in the United States.

F-1 students may engage in employment or practical training only when they meet all applicable federal eligibility requirements and have obtained any authorization required by U.S. immigration regulations.

Eligibility for employment authorization, including Curricular Practical Training (CPT) or Optional Practical Training (OPT) when applicable, depends on the student’s individual circumstances, academic program, immigration status, and applicable federal requirements.

F-1 students should speak with an INX Academy Designated School Official (DSO) before accepting employment or beginning any practical training.
