Approvals, Funding Programs, and Institutional Participation

INX Academy participates in selected state, federal, military, workforce, veteran, and international-student programs that may provide eligible students with access to education benefits, workforce funding, tuition assistance, or specialized enrollment pathways.

Participation in any program does not guarantee admission, funding, benefit eligibility, visa approval, military authorization, employment, or full payment of tuition and fees. Eligibility is determined by the applicable government agency, military branch, workforce organization, or other authorized entity.

Prospective students should confirm the following before enrolling:

  • Approved programs and authorized locations

  • Upcoming program start dates

  • F-1 international-student eligibility

  • VA education-benefit eligibility

  • Workforce and grant-funding availability

  • SkillBridge participation

  • Admissions requirements

  • Required documentation

  • Tuition, fees, and student payment responsibilities

Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP)

INX Academy is certified by the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) to enroll eligible F-1 international students in programs and at school locations authorized under the institution’s current SEVP certification and approved Form I-17.

SEVP certification permits authorized Designated School Officials to issue a Form I-20, Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status, to qualified students who have been admitted to an eligible program and have satisfied applicable institutional and federal requirements.

SEVP certification does not guarantee:

  • Admission to INX Academy

  • Issuance of an F-1 visa

  • Admission or entry into the United States

  • Approval of a change or reinstatement of status

  • F-1 eligibility for every program offered by INX Academy

  • Employment authorization

  • Approval of any other immigration benefit

F-1 students may enroll only in programs and at locations authorized under INX Academy’s current SEVP certification and approved Form I-17.

International applicants must satisfy applicable admissions, academic, English-language, financial-documentation, and immigration-document requirements before a Form I-20 may be issued.

Final decisions regarding visas, admission to the United States, changes of status, reinstatement, employment authorization, and other immigration matters are made by the appropriate U.S. government agencies.

International applicants should contact INX Academy International Admissions or a Designated School Official (DSO) to confirm current program availability and F-1 eligibility.

Veterans Affairs Education Benefits

INX Academy is approved to offer selected programs to eligible veterans, service members, spouses, and dependents using qualifying U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs education benefits.

Only programs specifically approved by the applicable State Approving Agency and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs may be certified for VA education benefits.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs determines:

  • Student eligibility

  • Benefit amounts

  • Remaining entitlement

  • Tuition and fee payments

  • Housing allowances

  • Other applicable benefit payments

Students planning to use VA education benefits should contact the INX Academy School Certifying Official (SCO)before enrolling to confirm:

  • Whether the selected program is currently approved for VA education benefits

  • Which courses may be certified

  • Required eligibility and enrollment documentation

  • Attendance and satisfactory academic-progress requirements

  • Student responsibilities during the certification process

INX Academy does not determine an individual student’s eligibility for VA education benefits and cannot guarantee that benefits will cover all tuition, fees, books, supplies, housing, or other educational expenses.

Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)

INX Academy is an approved training provider for selected programs through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and the San Diego Workforce Partnership.

Eligible participants may qualify for workforce-funded training based on:

  • Individual eligibility

  • Career Center assessment

  • Program approval and availability

  • Current funding availability

  • Applicable workforce-program requirements

Workforce participation or program listing does not guarantee funding, admission, program completion, certification, or employment.

Students interested in workforce funding should contact the appropriate Career Center or INX Academy Admissions for current program information.

CalJOBS

Selected INX Academy programs may be listed through CalJOBS, California’s employment and workforce-services system.

A program’s inclusion in CalJOBS does not guarantee:

  • Admission to INX Academy

  • Workforce funding

  • Professional certification

  • Employment

  • Eligibility for any individual applicant

Students should confirm current program eligibility and funding requirements with the appropriate workforce agency before enrollment.

Department of Defense SkillBridge

INX Academy participates in the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program where applicable.

SkillBridge participation is available only to eligible service members who receive the required authorization from their military command and satisfy applicable program requirements.

SkillBridge participation is separate from:

  • VA education benefits

  • F-1 international-student enrollment

  • SEVP authorization

  • WIOA and workforce funding

  • Other financial-aid or grant programs

Participation in SkillBridge does not automatically establish eligibility for VA education benefits, workforce funding, F-1 status, or any other education benefit.

Service members should confirm eligibility and obtain required command authorization before beginning a SkillBridge program.

California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education

INX Academy is approved to operate as a private postsecondary educational institution in the State of California.

Approval to operate is granted by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) under the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009.

Approval to operate means that INX Academy has met the minimum state standards required for operation under applicable California law.

Important Eligibility Notice

Each approval, funding source, benefit program, military program, and immigration classification has its own eligibility requirements.

Participation in WIOA, CalJOBS, SkillBridge, or VA education-benefit programs does not establish eligibility for F-1 student enrollment.

Similarly, SEVP certification or F-1 eligibility does not establish eligibility for VA education benefits, workforce funding, SkillBridge participation, or any other funding program.

Approval of a program under one agency or funding source should not be interpreted as approval under another.

Prospective students are encouraged to speak with the appropriate INX Academy representative before enrolling to confirm:

      • Current program approval

      • Authorized location

      • Start date

      • Funding or benefit eligibility

      • Required documentation

      • Tuition and fees

      • Any remaining student financial responsibility
